As you know, cinquains have a strict syllable pattern. Therefore, today I have a few activities for you to try to make sure you really understand syllables as a concept.  Please work through these challenges and games! 

 

Activity 1: Century Tech! Please try complete your assignment titled "Cinquain Syllables Nugget - 3.3.2021". It contains 1 nugget - "Syllables [PSPG9.01]". Please try your best to score 80%+ and remember to watch the video! 

Activity 2: Syllable Sorting Activity!

Next, cut and sort these words into the correct columns! 

Activity 3: Syllable Bingo! 

Finally, try to find words to meet each criteria on this Syllable Bingo game!

For example: 

- Two syllables: Something red = a.pple

- Three+ syllables: Something shiny= mi.cro.wave

Then, write 5 sentences which contain the /sh/ sound written as 'ch'.
