SATS Information for Parents

Year 6 SATS

Y6 children undertake their End of Key Stage Tests (SATS) in May each year. As well as these statutory tests, class teachers  also make teacher assessments. There are a number of key skills that children need to be able to demonstrate in order to be deemed as ‘meeting the expected standard’ at the end of Year 6.  The handouts below give thorough details of Y6 assessment and useful strategies to help support your child in the months leading up to SATS.
