English:

This week for English, we are working on fine motor skills, handwriting and spelling. On Monday and Wednesday, we will be in the BOLE practising handwriting, spelling words of the week and spelling pattern cian for example magic- magician. Take a look at what we will be doing at school. Can you find chalks to use at home, or write the spelling words in shaving foam or outside in the mud. Use our ideas for your home inspirations to learn the spellings of the week. On Friday we will be holding a Spelling Bee competition between the two Year 4 classes. Could you hold a spelling Bee competition between your family members? 

Our WOW word of the week is 'surreptitiously.' Take a look to see what we are doing on Thursday. Write as many interesting sentences as you can using the word surreptitiously. Can you add conjunctions, adjectives and any Spelling Bee words from this week?
