Science Week!

Watch this video and have a go at the climate change investigation.
You will need:
- 2 trays/ plates
- Clingfilm
- 2 blocks of ice
- A source of light (lamp/sun)
- Timer or watch

1. Create two mini environments on the tray with a block of ice. You can build a Lego house or use natural materials.
2. Cover one of the environments with a layer of clingfilm. The clingfilm will act as a layer of greenhouse gas.
3. Leave the trays in a sunny place and start timing!

What did you find out?
4. Watch the trays carefully and watch how long it takes the ice to melt in each environment.

PSHCE

Remember change is a natural process as we get older and we have no control over it. We will all become old and all grow from a baby, to a toddler, to a child, to a teenager, to an adult to an old person. Watch the video below before completing the activity.

What are you looking forward to when you grow up? Draw a portrait of yourself as an adult.
