Here is the link to this week’s White Rose Maths resources to go with the video above - https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/early-years/growing-6-7-8-week-2/. Through the link, you can also access the topic overview and download the powerpoint slides for each video.

This weeks useful supporting resources are natural objects collected on a walk, and 2 dice or a set of 1-6 number cards!

For the next few weeks, your teams assignment will be to upload evidence of your Maths learning. This can be a picture of you watching the video and joining in with the tasks, a video/audio of you telling us what you have learned or an example of you showing your understanding in another way you can think of!

Playtime

Time for a bit of a break and maybe a snack! Make sure you are really helpful and you tidy up all your things when you have finished!

Topic/writing

This term our topic is 'Growing and Changing'. Before we do any learning on this topic, have a talk with a grownup about what you already know on this topic. What things can you think of grow? How do those things change? Draw a picture or write about some things that you know grow!

Soon, we will look back at these and find out how much more you have learnt!

Lunchtime

Time for lunch! You could help cook your lunch or get things ready if your grown up thinks you can do it safely. After you have eaten, see if you can tidy all your things away just like you do at school!

Then have some time to relax, ask your grown ups what will fit in with your family life!

2.00 - If you are able to, join all our teachers and the children in school for a teams call!

Fine Motor Skills

Write down as many 'ay' words as you can think of. Remember to use the correct letter formation, including lead ins! Use the letter guide to help you!
