Temporary Welfare Assistant – 1 Year Contract

We require a temporary welfare assistant to work 32.5 hours per week with a named SEND child in Lower KS2.

Working hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

Actual salary £12,322 to £12,662 per annum.

Assistant Chef/Manager reporting to the Catering Manager

8.30am to 2.30pm Term Time only plus INSET days

BFBC Grade J scale point 11-13 depending on experience

 We are seeking to appoint an individual who can:

  • Cook, bake and serve to provide consistently high quality main meals an desserts for 400-500 per day;
  • Deputise for the Catering Manager and run the unit in their absence;
  • Ensure that all health and safety standards relevant to catering practices are met and recorded as required by the Food Hygiene Act;
  • Communicate well;
  • Be organised, efficient, flexible and reliable;
  • Take an active part in school life.

Catering/Chef/Cook experience is essential
