Go through all your speed sounds using your booklet, flash cards or maybe look at the Ruth Miskin website for a guided session.  There are lots of videos to choose from.  Choose a set 2 or 3 sound that you think your child needs to work on, or just work though a different one each day.

Mental Maths

First take a 100 square and highlight every other number e.g. 2,4,6,8,10.  What do you notice?

Now play the game by selecting x2 and thinking about which numbers must be multiples of 2.  If you're unsure, look at your highlighted 100 square and see if it's one of the highlighted numbers.
