Log onto our teams call at 9am ready to hear the plan for the day. 

Century Tech:

Log onto Century Tech and complete today's assignment: 'Y6 Maths 23.2.21'.

There are two nuggets to complete: 'Percentages of Amounts 1' and 'Percentages of Amounts 2'.  Make sure you WATCH THE VIDEOS FOR BOTH and repeat either nugget if you do not score more than 75% 

Take your time and learn.

Maths: 

Watch the video about finding the missing values when calculating percentages.  Make sure you have a pencil and paper handy so that you can have a go at the tasks as you watch the lesson.  Depending on how confident you then feel, choose your level of challenge from the practice sheets below.  The answers will be posted later today, so that you can mark your work in red pen.  Can you upload your marked work for us? (with arrows → / asterisks * or highlighted to show any parts with which you would like help.)

Writing:

Today, you will be gathering more ideas for your biography writing. Watch the video and use the knowledge organiser attached to help you.

Reading:

Read the booklet 'The Lost Queen' and answer the comprehension about it. Even if the questions look easy, remember to check the facts in the booklet. Don't rely on your memory! Time yourself for 15 minutes. Can you read and answer the booklet in that time? Answer video will be uploaded tomorrrow.
