Tuesday- Introductory Paragragh
Is this a good introductory paragraph? Can you use your red pen to make it better? Remember to look for missing punctuation! Can you write your own introductory paragraph about the Queen?
In 1937, the 11 year old Princess Elizabeth had watched her father, King George VI, crowned in the elaborate ceremony and 16 years later on 2 June 1953, her own official coronation was to take place.
Coronations have been held at Westminster Abbey for 900 years and The Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II was to follow suit. But the Coronation of 1953 was ground-breaking in it's own right - the first ever to be televised, it was watched by 27 million people in the UK alone and millions more audiences around the world

Is this a good section in a non chronological report?
I liked the coronation. the queen looked beautiful. she wozwearin a crown that sparkled like fireworks. Wearing a golden dress, she floated down the aisle like a swan. As she bowed befor the archbishop she looked like an angel.
No! We don't use 'I' in a non chronological report. How could you report on the Queen's Coronation. Watch the video below to collect facts about what happened on that day. Remember to add dates and times and to use FACTS not OPINIONS.
