Century Tech:

Log onto Century Tech and complete today's assignment 'Y6 Maths 24.2.21'

There are two nuggets to complete again today: one on 'Percentages of Amounts 3' and one on 'Percentages: Missing Values'. 

WATCH THE VIDEOS and repeat the nuggets if you do not score over 75%.

Maths:

Watch the video and Mrs. M will show you how to tackle word problems involving percentages.  Make sure you have a pencil and paper so that you can try the activities in the video.

Afterwards, choose your level of challenge from the practice sheets below and use bar models to solve them.

The answers will be posted later so that you can mark your work in red pen.  Once it's marked, please upload it with scribbles on if you'd like any help with anything.

Reading:

Watch Mrs Mistry as she talks you through the answers to 'The Lost Queen' comprehension. mark your booklet along with the video.

Writing:

Today you will be writing the introduction to your biography. Make sure you have a pen and paper handy and watch the video below as Mrs Mistry talks you through how to write a brilliant introduction!

Spelling:

Just like the activities we do in our green spelling books, have a go at completing the 'Choose the Right Word' Activity below.  I will post the answers later so that you can mark your work in red pen. 

French:

1. Watch the video below as Mrs. M shows you how to recap on your basic french skills and introduce yourself. 
2. Make some notes as you watch, then go to Quizizz (details below) and try the quiz.
3. After you are a french greetings maître, (master), then write a little speech, approximately 1-2 minutes in length, introducing yourself to a french friend.  Video yourself and submit it to us on Teams. (You can attach it to this week's Biographies assignment.)
