This week we are writing out own version of the Bear Hunt story!

Monday

Explain that today we are going on a different type of hunt! We’re going to write our own story based on the Bear hunt but we are going to go on a shark hunt! Watch an under the sea scene (on ppt). As a class write the repetitive chorus for, we’re going on a shark hunt.

We’re going on a shark hunt, were going to catch a __________ one.

Tuesday

Look at the story map of the bear hunt from last week. What scenes will you have in your story? There is a shark hunt comic strip in the resources bank. Please use this to support your learning. Use the blank comic strip to draw your own story map using the key vocabulary.

Wednesday

Listen to the bear hunt story again. Remember this week we are writing our own version! Use your story map and the language to write the beginning of your story.

Thursday

Remember this week we are writing our own version! Use your story map and the language to write the  middle of your story.

Friday

Remember this week we are writing our own version! Use your story map and the language to write the ending of your story.
