Our Year 4 children enjoyed a very successful trip to the Living Rainforest near Newbury on Friday 26th April. Having studied rainforests in depth in Geography this year, the children were excited to experience the hot, humid climate they had learned so much about! The theme for the visit was sustainability and they were challenged to consider how our actions affect the world we live in. They were particularly happy to meet an armadillo, a sloth (when it wasn’t in hiding!) and many other exotic animals and plants. Their behaviour was exceptional and they were a credit to the school.
