e-Safety

Although we provide strategies to protect our children at school and advice on keeping themselves safe when using information technology, we are fully aware of the possible dangers facing them when using such technologies outside of school.

The use of ICT provides many valuable learning opportunities and the development of these skills are without doubt crucial in today’s society. With the rapidly increasing range of communication devices in our lives, and their wider use by children both for learning and fun, it is important that we all take steps to ensure our children are secure, safe and responsible users of these technologies.

We try and keep parents informed and run an annual workshop for parents during e-safety week (usually in the Spring term). Should you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
