harvey-clareMrs Clare Harvey (SENDCo and Inclusion Manager)

I  joined Binfield as a full time SENDCo in January 2016.  My role as SENDCo means that I support children with special educational needs, working alongside staff, parents and other professionals to promote the best outcomes for these children.  Before joining Binfield, I was a class teacher for five years, as well as having taught outdoor education for the National Trust.  I’ve always loved working with children, especially when we are learning through philosophy PSHCE (personal, social, health and citizenship education).

Mr Paul Gooch –  PE Coach
I have been at Binfield for a number of years and really enjoy teaching the children PE, watching them develop their skills and pushing their boundaries.  It is particularly rewarding to watch the children’s social and creative skills improve, in addition to their physical ability and health and fitness knowledge, during their lessons with me.

Miss Shannon Halls –  PE Coach
I have recently joined Binfield working with Mr Gooch and I am really enjoying getting to know the children.    The children are extremely enthusiastic, eager to learn and love their games lessons!

Mrs Lisa Williams – Teacher

Currently on maternity leave
I have been working at Binfield since September 2005.  I job share in Y5,  dividing my time between teaching and caring for my son. My favourite subject is Maths and I enjoy playing and taking part in lots of different sporting activities. This academic year my leadership role is school display boards and making them really exciting and interesting to look at!  In my spare time I enjoy going to the cinema and relaxing doing Pilates.

Mrs Sophie Corah – Teacher

Currently on maternity leave
I joined Binfield in September 2013 and currently work in Year 5, having previously worked in Years 3 and 4.  This academic year I will be working with Mrs Sandilands as subject co-ordinator for Art and Music.  I enjoy being creative and strive to put this into teaching.  This year I will be running a Book Club and supporting the children with Kickstart.  Outside of school, my interests include reading and dancing.
